TV/TV Concert

Today was my first day of interning at Epic Records. More to come about my job next week because today was just spent getting shown around the office and meeting people.

Because I got home so late and our concert was at 7, Pat and I decided just to grab some McDonald's for dinner. We actually ended up eating and walking all the way to the show. It was freezing and it was certainly the longest 20 blocks I've ever walked. [By the way, this brings me to a helpful NYC tip: None of the McDonald's have Dollar Menus in Time Square, but by walking 3-4 blocks north or south, you too can be a Dollar Menunairre.] The show was at the Highland Ballroom in the Meatpacking District...
The first band we saw was This Condition. They were alright, and I was definitely impressed with the venue's lighting system...The next band was Liam & Me. They were my favorite...
Then came TV/TV, the band we came for. We somehow ended up really close to the stage...As an added bonus to the night, there was an MTV film crew taping an upcoming episode of Made at the concert because the singer of TV/TV is going to be her Made coach. So if you see an episode of Made with a girl wanting to be a rockstar, you might see us. I took a picture with her after the show.  Also, we're such cheapskates that we ended up walking home in 4 degree weather instead of taking the train.

Looks like your Mom and I are on the same blog. How does that happen. Your concert pictures are fantastic. It is 12 blow here and snowing. Did you see the plane crash. The pilot was incredible. Kat was flying that same day on US Air. Scared me half to death when I heard about the crash and did'nt know if it was her plane. Mah Mah
